The S6 represents a new vision – offering clients an updated version of the popular S4, leaving behind the traditional dial and replacing it with a contemporary design.
Powered as before by Calibre BF03, a version of the famous Swiss ETA 6498 movement that has been heavily modified and decorated by the company’s watchmakers, the S6 once again highlights in-house craftsmanship and lavish finishing in a hand-wound, 41mm wristwatch, in which almost every element is customisable.
The S6 features Garrick’s elegant English made case made from 904L stainless steel, which has been grained at the edges, frosted in between the lugs and richly polished on top.
In contrast to the bolder style of the S4, the S6 dial has a more paired-back aesthetic, free of numerals and allowing for a more spacious layout, with a more contemporary feel. Time is indicated solely via a narrow chapter ring at the edge of the dial, which carries indexes for hours and minutes (each painstakingly infilled with ink by hand), while a running seconds subdial is once again shown at 6 o’clock.
Every watch is built to order and dials are available with hammered, textured or engine-turned detailing and handcrafted lancine or anchor hands.
